How to Have a Date Night With Your Kids

By Amanda Chapman, Publisher and Editor, Winchester Macaroni Kid February 18, 2018

We all treasure spending quality time with our kids, but sometimes we forget how much our kids crave spending quality time with us. Life gets hectic. We all get busy. That is why we, as parents, have to make a conscious effort to carve out that one-on-one time. Going on a date with your child once a month will help build a stronger relationship between you and your child, as well as help to open lines of communication between you. Talking to your kids now will make it easier for them to talk to you when it really counts. So take a minute to look at your calendar and plan a date night/day with your kid(s). Here are some ideas for things you and your child can do on a date night/day.
