As you may already know, I am on the advisory board for Activate Good, a local 501(c)3 dedicated to tackling critical issues like hunger, homelessness, education, helping the environment and more by mobilizing the community to participate in service.
We rely on support from the community in many forms. Activators! are a special community of supporters that give monthly, helping to sustain Activate Good programs and make a collective impact. This year, for our birthday on August 12th, we are launching an Activators! Member Drive called Level Up.
Our Activators! group currently has 95 members, and our goal is to reach 150 total in 2022. That means we only need 55 more people to join our cause to reach our goal! By becoming an Activator!, you’d be helping Activate Good:
- Increase the capacity of our youth programs, engaging young folks to be changemakers and leaders through service
- Fill more community needs by reaching more people and mobilizing our extensive online volunteer network (35,000 and counting!)
- Build the capacity of our nearly 600 community partners by providing volunteer support to achieve their missions
Monthly donations can be any amount, starting as low as $5 / month, and each new Activator! Will receive an exclusive Activate Good tote bag.
