Every year on the official date of Halloween, October 31, Main Street businesses and Creedmoor City Hall invite you to dress your best and come join us on Main Street in downtown Creedmoor for an evening of sweets and fun!
Trick or treating, to most, is a fun tradition, and Creedmoor merchants make it even more enjoyable by opening up businesses after-hours for children to swarm Main Street from Lyon Street to Park Avenue. Costume-clad participants are met by business owners (and even dogs) also dressed for the occasion and ready to give out goodies!
Members of the Creedmoor Police Department pass out candy in front of the City Hall building located at 111 Masonic Street. The department also makes a metal detector available for parents to scan their children's candy if they wish.
